“You should never believe anything you don’t understand.”

Explaining the logic behind the world’s knowledge is the central purpose of this blog.

Anyone can tell you anything. Only once you have examined what they have told you – what it means, how it works, and what it implies – should you believe them. To do otherwise is foolish. Perhaps they’re lying. Perhaps they’re mistaken.

Unfortunately in the sciences and mathematics good explanation can be hard to come by. The most accurate explanations are so couched in unfamiliar notation and technical jargon that no one but the initiated can understand them. Mathematical notation isn’t a code, it is shorthand. Even elaborate equations can be unpacked into natural language.

Once the math is available to be read it can be understood.
